Our Story
2013
SADAS WAS FOUNDED
SADAS was founded as a spin-off of Advanced Systems, with which they form AS Group. SADAS is dedicated to the development of business intelligence and data analysis solutions, and works in partnership with international cloud computing providers, consulting companies and European universities.
2012
Sadas BI
In 2012 Sadas Engine is complemented by Sadas BI, a web-based solution for the creation of business intelligence applications, dashboards and corporate reports. The two products thus form an integrated set, entirely Made in Italy, for data management and analysis.
2006
Sadas Engine
The product Sadas Engine is presented at the prestigious International Conference “Extending Database Technology (EDBT)” in Munich.
2005
First Columnar DBMS
In 2005, Advanced Systems launched Sadas Engine: a columnar DBMS from 10 to over 100 times faster than traditional DBs organized by row. Sadas Engine is the result of a research project financed, among others, by the Italian Minister of Education, in collaboration with the University of Pisa and the University of Sannio.

Specialized in the production of management software for tax collection and the development of business applications, already in the 1980s the company developed a first columnar DBMS specifically designed for data warehouse solutions.
